Because it is based on accelerator technology it can operate at >200keV, absolutely unheard of in legacy fusion approaches.

The technology will operate in space very easily as there is no vacuum limitations, no need for a vacuum vessel.

Central magnetic field crossing orbits, thus maximum Center of Mass collisional energy;

Axis crossing orbits have very high collisionality. Maglich carried out an experiment called Migma that investigated axis crossing orbits at 0.7MeV Deuterium ions.
The present technology proposes a number of key improvements to the Migma concept. The problem of beam trapping is removed. Injected charged particle beam current is increased by orders of magnitude.
These improvements result in a more compact, less expensive machine. This concept introduces an internal drive mechanism similar to that of the Electrodynamic Capacitor.
It is regarded as a true accelerator because it supports a singular design orbit structure.
